BSC, the acronym for Balanced Scorecard is wordwide know mainly by its characteristics of measuring and managing organizational performance.
Although it represented a very important management strategic tool to sum up the performance of the whole organization, BSC is also a very important tool of organizational communication. This communication can be in a top-down direction or in a bottom-up direction. It is important, not only to have the guidelines from the top management, but is also important to receive feeback from the factory workers, for exemple.
As for the ones, that do not know already the BSC tool, and in a nut shell, it is composed by four perspectives, financial, client, internal, and learning and growth. In each of these perpectives, the organization should have specific objectives with specific indicators in order to achieve specific targets. and for achieving all these, we need to define specific initiatives.
